Frequently Asked Questions

• How do I know if my project needs to be pre-reviewed by the
    Scientific Review Committee?

Projects in the junior and senior categories are required to follow the rules established by the
Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Depending on the nature of a student's project, his/her project may need to be reviewed to ensure guidelines for safety procedures, ethical standards and other criteria will be followed during the experiment. The Exemption Help Guide can help give you some idea as to whether your project falls into a category where it will require
pre-review. This guide is by no means the final say as to whether a project needs to be pre-review.
If you have any concerns about your project, please contact the SRC Chairman, Dr. Trent Parker, by phone at (260) 481-5456 or by email at parkert@ipfw.edu.

• Can you give me some tips on filling out the Human Subject form (4)?
