Requirements for a Psychology Minor
If you are pursuing a major other than psychology, you may earn a minor in psychology by completing the following courses with a grade of C or better in each course and earning at least 8 credits as resident credit at IPFW:
- PSY 120 - Elementary Psychology
One of the following:
- PSY 314 - Introduction to Learning
- PSY 329 - Psychobiology II
- PSY 416 - Cognitive Psychology
One of the following:
- PSY 235 - Child Psychology
- PSY 240 - Introduction to Social Psychology
- PSY 369 - Lifespan Development
One of the following:
- PSY 350 - Abnormal Psychology
- PSY 420 - Introduction to Personality Theory
PLUS 3 additional credits in approved psychology courses numbered 200 or above.
Note: PSY 235 Child Psychology and PSY 369 Lifespan Development cannot both be taken for credit toward graduation due to overlapping content.
TOTAL CREDIT HOURS: 15
