  • Where do I go to sign-up for experiements?
  • Go to http://ipfw.sona-systems.com/, the Sona Systems website.

  • How do I sign-up for experiments?
  • Click here for a detailed description.

  • What if my name and password don't work?
  • First, be absolutely certain that you are tying to use the correct username and password. Your user name is the first four letters of your last name, the first letter of your first name and usually your middle initial followed by a 01 or 02. For example, John A. Smith could be Smitja01. Your password is your date of birth in the xx/xx/xxxx format. The slashes (/) must be present.

If you are sure you are trying the right thing, or don't know your student ID number, please call the psychology department at (260) 481-6403 and Christina or Sara, department secretaries, will help you.

  • Can I participate in the same experiment more than once?
  • No.

  • If an experiment is worth 2 credits, and I have already completed 3 other experiments, do I still have to do a total of 5 experiments?
  • No. Some experiments are longer than others and consequently are worth more points. You need a total of 5 credits for experiments. For example, if Experiments 1, 2 and 3 are worth one point each, and Experiment 4 is worth 2 points, you are finished because the 4 experiments combined equal 5 points even though you only completed 4 experiments. You must complete enough experiments to total 5 credits.
