THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY AT INDIANA UNIVERSITY-PURDUE UNIVERSITY FORT WAYNE (IPFW) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning in Fall, 2010. The position requires a Ph.D. in psychology and specialization in behavioral or cognitive neuroscience or psychobiology. The department offers an undergraduate degree in psychology; duties include teaching courses such as Introductory Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, Neuroscience, and additional courses in area of specialization. This position also requires developing a program of research leading to publication (using either human or animal populations), and some service to the university, community, and profession. The university has an AAALAC-approved facility suitable for research with small animals. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong commitment to teaching and involving undergraduates in their research.
