Professional Background
Dr. Patrick Garvey is a clinical assistant professor in the IPFW School of Education. He is the director of the Educational Leadership and the Specialist Degree Programs. His primary administrative responsibilities include recruiting and advising students’ program of study. His primary teaching responsibilities include courses, which prepare students for an Indiana Superintendent License. Dr. Garvey received his B.S. in education and his M.S. in educational administration from Butler University. His Ed.D. in educational leadership is from Ball state University. He has 27 years experience in public education administration (20 years as a superintendent).
