Professional Background
Dr. Stella C. Batagiannis is an Assistant Professor in the IPFW School of Education in the Educational Leadership Program. Her primary teaching responsibilities include the courses: Introduction to Educational Leadership, Public School Personnel Management, Elementary/Secondary School Administration, School-Community Relations, the Practicum in School Administration and Portfolio, and other courses required for principal licensure. Dr. Batagiannis is chairing the Academic Affairs Committee in 2007-08 and is serving in several departmental areas and campus committees. Her research interests are in qualitative research focused on courage in leadership, the dispositions of leadership, and the effects of these qualities on school reform.
