Minor in Religious Studies

The Religious Studies program seeks to provide a basic level of competency in the academic study of religion as well as to deepen students' knowledge of particular faith traditions. As an academic unit of IPFW, we do not advocate belief in any one tradition, but instead encourage a broad multi-disciplinary investigation of faith traditions.

Religious Studies is an interdisciplinary program housed in the
department of philosophy. Students may earn a minor in religious
studies by completing the following credits with a grade of C or
better in each course and earning at least 8 credits as resident
credit at IPFW. Substitutions for these courses may be made with
the approval of the department.
