How to Request Indiana University Official Transcripts

Indiana University ELECTRONIC transcripts may be obtained within 24 hours by following the instructions on the website of the Indiana UniversityTranscripts for a nominal fee.

If you attended any IU campus prior to 1965, please contact the Office of the Registrar at Indiana University—Bloomington campus for transcript information.

The IPFW Office of the Registrar (Kettler Hall Room 107) can provide an official Indiana University transcript for IU students who have been enrolled at IPFW. There is a $8.00 charge for a paper copy of a transcript or a $13 charge for an electronic PDF email copy of a transcript. You may specify either option on the request form.

Payment by Check or Money Order

To request an Indiana University official transcript:

  1. Complete and print the Request for Official IU Transcript Form.
  2. Sign the request form.
  3. Make your check or money order payable to IPFW.
  4. Write your Student ID Number on your check or money order.
  5. Postal mail your check or money order and the signed request form to the IPFW Registrar's office.
  6. In most cases, your request will be processed in 7-10 business days after your fully completed request and payment are received. This 7-10 day estimate does not include mail delivery and mail processing times at other destinations (including other colleges and universities). Holds on your student account or incomplete requests may cause delays. Due to security and privacy issues, outgoing transcripts will not be faxed.

To request an Indiana University official transcript:
