In the Student Success program of study, we focus on preparing your academic skills and your career development/job readiness. We coach you as we prepare a Student Success Plan that guides you to graduation. We partner with Career Services to offer workshops that deal with resume writing, interviewing, workplace communication, business, etiquette, etc... We also partner with the Academic Success Center to offer workshops that deal with study skills, writing/research, time management, and test preparation.
In ODMA, we house the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006. The purpose of the Perkins program is to develop more fully the academic, career, and technical skills of students enrolled in CTE/STEM.
