Starting, Transferring & Returning Students (STARS) is a program created for all IPFW first year, graduate, re-entry, second degree and transfer students. It is an evening orientation program designed to help the transition of non-traditional students back into the student world.
Workshop topics include: How to Conquer Your Math Anxiety, Time Management, How to Use the Computer for Academic Success, and Study Skills and Note Taking. However, STARS does not replace NSO; you may be required to attend a mandatory New Student Orientation (NSO) online and/or on campus event. You are welcome and encouraged to also attend the STARS event.
