MAP-Works® is a comprehensive student retention and success program. Because IPFW cares about students and their transition to and success in college, we use MAP-Works® to find out early in the semester how we can help you succeed. Knowing this information early means we can coordinate faculty/staff outreach to focus students on successful behaviors – making your journey through college much more positive.
Students are invited to take the online MAP-Works® survey and answer questions about their time so far at IPFW. The questions vary from their academic and social integration to the campus to entering skills and abilities to their college experience expectations.
Once they have completed the survey, students are immediately linked to their personal web-based report. The report helps students see which behaviors will help them to succeed, which behaviors aren't helpful, and then connects the student with campus resources and support services.
