Rhonda Meriwether
Director

Rhonda Meriwether is the Director of the Mastodon Advising Center. Rhonda earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Masters’ Degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University. She has worked at IPFW since 1991 and loves working to help encourage and empower students to succeed in college.

Kim Myers

Kim Myers

Academic Advisor

Kim has been serving students in advising and instructor roles at IPFW since 2005.  She earned a graduate certificate in Instructional Design from University of Wisconsin in 2015; a M.A. in Professional Communication Studies at IPFW in 2006; and a B.A. with a double-major in Communication and Sociology in 2001 from Purdue University, West Lafayette.  Kim brings experiences from social services as well as student affairs and faculty roles at Manchester University, Indiana Tech, and Ivy Tech Community College, giving her a holistic approach to serving students from diverse social, academic, and cultural backgrounds.  She is actively interested in and involved with social justice issues and has facilitated Safe Zone/Safe Space workshops at IPFW and through a local non-profit organization that she founded to build more inclusive and welcoming organizational climates for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.  You may find her around IPFW chatting with a student about their interests and goals in the Mastodon Advising Center, teaching an online class, attending an event, or taking a class for fun.

CassieWolfe

Cassie Wolfe

Academic Advisor

Cassie has been at IPFW since 2008. She was originally recruited as a student-athlete from California. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication with a minor in Psychology. She then earned her Master's of Science Degree in Education with a concentration in School Counseling. While attending IPFW, she was Vice President of SALT (Student-athlete leadership team), Student Leader for The BIG Event, NSO Graduate Assistant, Intramural Sports Graduate Assistant, and former Chi Eta Sigma President (Counseling honor society). Cassie is very involved in coaching younger student-athletes and is a strong advocate for suicide prevention. She is currently involved with Project COMPASS at IPFW and facilitates training for students, staff, and faculty for suicide prevention Gatekeeper Training. Cassie is excited to advocate for students' campus involvement and help students' achieve their academic and extracurricular goals.
