Classroom Response Systems are tools used by the faculty for class polling and student feedback. These systems can be an effective tool to engage student participation and aid in impromptu teaching. These tools can also be an effective way to engage an audience, and provide feedback to presenters during any group event.

i>clicker Student Response System is the supported classroom response system for the IPFW campus. In order to use i>clicker, faculty members need to have a receiver and students need a response pad. Faculty can use a faculty remote which allows the instructor to control polling and results anywhere in the classroom. Faculty and staff interested in using i>clicker, should contact the IT Services Help Desk for assistance.  

Students can purchase a student remote or "clicker" in the campus bookstore for approximately $47.75. Clickers may also be rented for a semester for $23.85. Students can use one clicker for all classes using i>clicker.

Web clicker, a product of i>clicker, allows students to use a personal device that has an internet connection as a student remote. This requires a license purchase and the fee varies and is dependent upon the length of the license agreement. Web clicker is not a supported remote/clicker option for students at this time.
