Kathie joined User Technology Support in March of 2009. She has a strong background
in technical support and customer service. She had become a familiar "voice" at the
Help Desk since 2004. Now as Academic Computer Support Specialist, Kathie provides
training on various production applications, Web accessibility, student response systems,
and Blackboard. Her duties also include evaluating and developing training materials and
writing online and hard-copy documentation. She is a  Blackboard Administrator.

When she is not at IPFW, she spends time with family, spoils her grandchildren, and
indulges in her hobbies. Year round hobbies include photography, crafting, woodworking,
and reading. As soon as weather permits, she will take her camera with her outdoors as
she paddles Indiana waterways in her kayak. For more fun, she likes swimming, fishing,
and geocaching.
