Transfer Students from Outside of the US

TRANSFER APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FALL 2018

Requirements:

Completed Common Application or Transfer Application

Proof of English Proficiency:

Required for students who native language is other than English. Official score reports from one of the following tests must be submitted directly to the institution from the testing agency.

TOEFL: 79

IELTS: Minimum 6.5 Overall Band Score

SAT: 25 Reading

SAT (prior to 05/2016): 450 Critical Reading

ACT: 20 Composite

A Level First Language English: Minimum grade “C” or above

PTE Academic: 58

ELS Language Center: Completion of level 112

Transcripts:



Official transcripts from institutions must be submitted. If not issued in English, English translations must accompany the official transcripts. If less than 30 credit hours have been completed, official secondary school records must be submitted in addition to University level transcripts.

GPA Requirement:

  • 2.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale from all universities attended

Transfer of College/University Credit:

Detailed course descriptions in English are required for transfer of credit from any prior course work completed at a college or university outside of the U.S. Transfer credit evaluations will be completed after a student has been admitted and confirmed enrollment at Purdue Fort Wayne.

 

Scholarships:

Purdue Fort Wayne Merit Award
$7,500.00 Tuition Award Per Year - No Application Required

    Requirements (any one of the following minimum test scores):

  • SAT: 1800 (old SAT)
  • SAT: 1290 (new SAT)
  • ACT score: 27
  • TOEFL: 87
  • IELTS: 7.0

                        AND

  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

     Scholarship Renewal: Up to 3 years. Student must maintain satisfactory academic progress while enrolled
