Amanda graduated with a BS in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Women's Studies. . Amanda's research project was entitled "Effects of Stereotype Threat on Math Performance." During her time at IPFW, she worked as a research assistant for Dr. Carol Lawton. Amanda intends to work in a mental healthcare facility after graduation before continuing on for a Ph.D. in Social Psychology.
Heidi obtained a BS in Nursing. She was the President of the campus organization Student Nurses at IPFW, a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society for Nurses, and Xi Nu. Her research project was entitled "Program to Reduce Infant Mortality in Allen County." She plans on working for Visiting Nurse and a local hospital after graduation before returning in the fall to pursue a Masters in Nursing at IPFW.
Shey graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and the Public Policy Association. Shey also served as the President of Phi Theta Kappa and Treasurer of the Big Heart Club. Her research project was titled "Victimization of the Homeless." Shey intends to pursue a law degree with the hopes of becoming a Supreme Court Justice.
Brittany graduated from IPFW with a BS in Biology. Brittany presented on the topic "Analysis of Signal Propagation of Bird Song." She served as the President of the Global Health Initiative. Brittany plans to attend Indiana University School of Medicine.
Theresa graduated with a BS in Biology with minors in Psychology and History. She was actively involvled in the New Catholic Fellowship, Students for Life, IPFW Track, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and teaching at a Sunday school. Her presentation was titled "Habitat Distribution of Copper-belly Water Snakes." Theresa plans to attend graduate school for Transition to Teaching in Elementary Education.
Molly received a BS degree in Biology. She served as the President of the AMSA IPFW Pre-Med Club and Treasurer for Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society. Molly's presentation was titled "Feeding Mechanisms of the Olive Snail Olivella Biplicata," which led to a formal presentation in Comporta, Argentina at the Argentinean Meeting on Behavioral Biology Conference. Molly plans to attend Indiana University School of Medicine on the Fort Wayne campus.
Heather received her BA in Theatre. She served as the President of the Student Theatre Organization on campus. Heather's research project was titled "An In-depth Look at "Orlando" by Virginia Wolfe." In the future, Heather plans to work at Camp Red Cedar as a Camp Counselor and Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor, audition for theatre work in the Midwest area, and will get married in June 2013.
Natasha received her BS in Biology. She served as the Secretary for the Xi Epsilon Chapter of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society. Natasha was also involved with the Pre-Med Club and the Global Health Initiative. Her honors project was entitled, "Determination of Asexual Reproduction in a Snake." Natasha intends on attending Indiana University School of Medicine to specialize in Emergency Medicine/Trauma Surgery, and she also plans on getting married in the summer of 2013.
