Personal training sessions are one-on-one and last one hour.
Kate is certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and an Aquatic P.T. through Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA). She has experience training clients ranging from 13 to 65 and has taught aquatics for over 12 years. Kate’s chief aim is to assist participants in increasing their strength, flexibility, and functionality in their world, working with each to determine the best path toward reaching their personal goals. A graduate of IPFW, she is excited to be back on this beautiful campus in an entirely new role.
Susan has been committed to working in the fitness industry since 1986. She holds a Personal Trainer's certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a Group Fitness certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She also holds an Aquatics Exercise certification through (AEA) as well as certifications through the Arthritis Foundation and SCW Pre– and Post-Natal. She has received certificates for Gerontology through Indiana University and Activity Therapy through Purdue University. Susan enjoys training persons of all ages who want to reach their goals in fitness, nutrition, or weight management; especially weekend warriors who want better performance at golf, tennis, running, etc., and seniors who desire a more active lifestyle.
Jim is a graduate of Manchester College with a degree in Physical Education and Health Management. He has a Health/Fitness Instructor certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Over the last 15 years, Jim has worked with athletes, attorneys, body builders, senior citizens, and teachers.
