Campus to Community Connections

Student Projects

Areas Where We Can Help

Are you interested in working with IPFW students in the areas of business, marketing, engineering, computer science, graphic arts, and industrial design as a sponsor of faculty supported student projects?   Connect with students in The Dormer School of Business, College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Visual and Performing Arts.  There are low-cost opportunities in engineering design, market research, management strategy, graphic design, information technology, and many other areas.

IPFW provides a connection for projects that are applicable to the curriculum and provide good learning experiences for students, while providing opportunities that benefit businesses as well. This is also a great way to get your company name on campus and begin to interact with students as potential future employees.

How To Get Started

Academic projects typically begin in August and January for senior design and other types of course-based projects.  We begin to solicit project proposals from our industrial partners in the late spring for the fall semester (August) projects and in the early fall for spring semester (January) projects.  If you are interested in finding out more about these programs, you can begin by contacting Jean Eisaman in the Office of Engagement.
