Services for Students with Disabilities

Peer Mentors

Each student in the Bridges program is paired with a peer mentor.  Peer mentor is a paid position for IPFW students who come alongside the student to support them academically and socially.  Peer mentors offer guidance for time management, organization, studying, and understanding class materials.  Socially, mentors may attend events on and off campus, play games, exercise in the fitness center, and other activities directed by the student's interests.  Peer mentors are a crucial part of supporting students to become fully immersed in the collegiate experience.
