The Center for Women and Returning Adults supports and advocates for all IPFW students who face personal or academic challenges. We also organize programs that address the specific needs of non-traditional and First Generation college students.

Referrals to Services: including academic assistance, personal counseling, career counseling, health care, social welfare programs and child care.
Seminars/Panel Discussions of interest to non-traditional students.
Virtual Scholarship Drawer for women and non-traditional adult students and First Generation students.
Social Welfare Database for students struggling with economic problems.
Safe Zone at IPFW/Safe Zone for Students: Providing workshops and other programs to help faculty, students and staff become better allies for their LGBT friends, classmates, neighbors and family members.
Flying START: A welcome party for non-traditional students and transfer students.
Being First: Providing support and guidance to students who are the first members of their families to go to a four-year college.
Students with Families: Provides meals, entertainment, movies, and fun for students and their immediate families.
Sexual Assault Prevention Project: Provides education and advocacy programs to prevent sexual assault.
