Test scoring and course evaluation services are available at the CELT office located in Kettler Hall, room 234.

These machines are available whenever the buildings are open. No online request form is needed in order to use the self-service machines.

These forms are available for departmental purchase through Stores (260)481-6190.
Self-service test scoring will mark all answers in which the response was deemed incorrect and also provide you with the number of correct responses both as a total and/or percentage marked on each individual score sheet. No printed report is available from these machines. An additional form may be purchased to provide data analysis. See the CELT office for more information regarding these forms.
With the acquisition of a new Scantron system, the test-scoring service in the CELT office has undergone many changes. Please pay special attention to the changes in the forms that can be used for this service.
In the past, we have also been able to run the F-288-PAR-L forms as well as the X-101864-PAR-L forms in the CELT office. These forms are not compatible with the new system.
At this time, there is no form available that will run in both the CELT office machine and the self-service machines.
When leaving any job to be processed, you will need to complete a short online work request that allows CELT staff to schedule and track your order. It also provides CELT with the data it needs to determine future staff and equipment needs. You must complete the online work request and submit it prior to dropping off your order. While-You-Wait appointments should to be made 1 business day prior to the date and time of the requested processing time. Orders will be completed in no more than 1 business day unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that While-You-Wait appointments are not available during finals week.
When the CELT office is closed, jobs may be left at the ITS Helpdesk, which is open 7:30 am to 11 pm, Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 8 am to 6 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 10 pm. If you must leave your job at the Helpdesk, please be sure to package your forms and key in an envelope labelled with your name, department and phone number, and submit the online work request prior to dropping off your job in order to ensure prompt service.
Data analysis results include test response, item analysis, reliability coefficient, test item statistics, enhanced item analysis, score distribution, grade distribution, histogram of scores, and error log. These reports are provided electronically in PDF format, via email or to a flash drive/thumb drive that you provide at the time your forms are delivered for processing. A CSV file containing the student ID numbers and their corresponding scores will also be provided.
Policy dictates that test forms may not be delivered or returned via campus mail. Please make arrangements to have your test forms picked up from the CELT office if you will be unable to return for them after they have been processed. These forms must be picked up in person by you or your designee. Please notify Stephanie if you will have someone else collecting your forms after processing.

The new system for course evaluations, Class Climate, is now available to all departments campus-wide. If you are the person responsible for evaluations within your department (typically the department secretary) and you are new to preparing and using this method of course evaluation, please speak with Stephanie Stephenson in the CELT office at (260)481-6354 or by stop by the CELT office in Kettler Hall, 234 as soon as possible to set up a time to complete the required training.
This system no longer utilizes the pink pre-printed forms from Scantron. Any paper-based evaluations are now printed by the departments or printing services an pre-approved printers.
This new system also provides the ability to produce course evaluations that are completely online and allows for the combination of statistics between paper-based and online surveys.
Once your forms are ready to be processed, please complete the online work request form for course evaluations prior to delivering your forms to CELT.
