Dr. Rathbun joined CELT in July 2004 after 4 years at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. There she helped develop and teach the curriculum for the newly founded Center for Academic Development, and conducted teacher training for AUI and Moulay Ismail University in Meknes. She taught graduate level instructional design and development courses at San Jose State University and at Indiana University, Bloomington, where she also worked for 7 years as an instructional technology consultant. Her name can be found in the graphics credits of the computer games Prince of Persia (Broderbund), California Games (Epyx), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (Disney), and the Carmen San Diego series by Broderbund.

Sam holds a BA from the University of Northern Colorado in and a MFA/MA in Art and Art History from Ohio University. Her areas of expertise are non-western cultures with special emphasis on African, Native American and Pre-Columbian art. She has developed and taught Art History courses for Marietta College (Ohio) and IPFW, and has taught in Rome, Italy and at Mesa Verde (Colorado), as well as an on-line Art Appreciation course. She was the first associate faculty member to earn honors faculty status at IPFW and was honored as Associate Faculty of the Year in 2000. Besides her career in the academy, she worked in the museum field for 13 years, including holding the position of Curator of Education with the Fort Wayne Museum of Art for 11 years. She has been full-time with CELT since 1999.

Ludy holds an MA in educational technology from Sir George Williams at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She completed doctoral courses and prelims in instructional design at Florida State University, but bypassed a dissertation to run a company, Instructional Systems Design, for ten years. At FSU, Ludy co-authored “A Comparative Analysis of Instructional Design,” a work cited in books, studied in graduate courses, and translated in several languages. She has worked in higher education at the Educational Services Program and Office of Distributed and Distance Learning at Florida State University, the Center for Excellence in Teaching at Georgia Southern University, and Course Design and Production at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Stephanie came to CELT in December 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from Purdue University and over ten years combined experience in the both the photographic and printing industries. While in West Lafayette, she was employed by one of the largest portrait studios in the state. She has photographed high school seniors from over 25 Indiana high schools, as well as a multitude of sporting events, weddings, families and children. She also worked as a customer service representative prior to joining the IPFW family.
