Adam comes to CELT with a history of working with faculty, helping them to meet their teaching goals.  He earned his Master’s degree in Professional Communication at IPFW in 2002 and has since taught for the Department of Communication.  From 2008-2016, he served as Online Course Director for the Department of Communication, as a member of the Online Course Design Review Team, as Lead CELT Teaching Fellow, and as an Online Course Retention Mentor.  He is a member of FACET and has served on a recent FACET Leadership team (investigating IPFW student success in online courses) and on IPFW’s Teaching Alliance Outreach team.  He is committed to the continuous improvement of teaching at IPFW.

Ludwika Aniela Goodson (Ludy)

Associate Director, Faculty Development

Ludy holds an MA in educational technology from Sir George Williams at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She completed doctoral courses and prelims in instructional design at Florida State University, but bypassed a dissertation to run a company, Instructional Systems Design, for ten years. At FSU, Ludy co-authored “A Comparative Analysis of Instructional Design,” a work cited in books, studied in graduate courses, and translated in several languages. She has worked in higher education at the Educational Services Program and Office of Distributed and Distance Learning at Florida State University, the Center for Excellence in Teaching at Georgia Southern University, and Course Design and Production at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Instructional Consultant/Designer

She holds a Masters degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Western Illinois University. She is also a doctoral candidate at the Department of Instructional Systems Technology, Indiana University. She taught technology integration courses and introductory instructional design course at Western Illinois University and Indiana University-Bloomington. Xiaokai also conducted program evaluations for federal or community-funded early childhood wellness programs. At CELT, Xiaokai will be working with faculty, departments, and administrators to promote effective teaching strategies and improve student learning outcomes in face-to-face, blended, and online learning environments that utilize technology in a significant way.

Regina Gordon

CELT Program Assistant

Regina Gordon is CELT’s Program Assistant. She is a graduate of IPFW and holds a Master’s in Liberal Studies and a Bachelor’s in General Studies. She came to CELT from TRIO Student Support Services. Regina assists with CELT events, processes Class Climate evaluations, and manages the Scantron grading system. In her spare time Regina serves on the Board of Windsong Pictures, works at a local homeless shelter, and has a support group for individuals with Sarcoidosis. She has previously worked for Fort Wayne Community Schools prior to joining IPFW.

Michelle Lussier

Technology Support Specialist

Michelle Lussier is CELT’s new Technology Support Specialist. Michelle ia a recent graduate of IPFW with a B.F.A. in Animation and a Bachelor's in General Studies. Michelle has worked for several departments at IPFW (Williams Theatre, CollegeTV, Studio M, and The Communicator). She was with Studio M, for 3 1/2 years, assisting students and faculty with projects and learning new programs. At CELT, Michelle will digitize video, help faculty plan and produce instructional videos, be CELT’s webmaster, and assist Regina with the Scantron processing.
