Supplemental Instruction (SI)

Center for Supplemental Instruction

The Center for Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an international program that offers peer-facilitated, group study sessions for historically difficult courses.

The sessions are led by current IPFW students that have passed the course successfully and have a faculty recommendation to assist the course. These students also have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 or higher.

The goal of SI is to increase the number of passing grades and reduce the number of students who withdraw. We want YOU to succeed!

SI is open to ALL students enrolled in the supported courses. Although you may not see your specific instructor or course section supported by an SI Leader, you are welcome to attend any SI session. In the SI Session you learn how to study as well as what to learn.
