Reverse Career Fair

Advisors please register on JobZone as an employer. Once approved, you will register your IPFW affiliated student group to attend the 2014 Reverse Career Fair! After you log in, on the very bottom right of your homepage, you will see "Attend Events". Click on “Reverse Career Fair 2014.”

 Finally-a chance to STAND ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TABLE!    Showcase the professional and leadership skills you’ve gained to employers. At this fair, student leaders will set up booths and employers will approach the tables.

HOW WILL I PREPARE?

There will be required prep sessions in video format (Watch it now here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-zj8WcLVN0) we will email to you to prepare you and your booth. It will also be REQUIRED for everyone attending to meet with a career counselor to polish your resume.

WHO:

The Reverse Career Fair is open to student leaders who are part of IPFW affiliated groups. Your adviser/supervisor will need to register your group on JobZone.  Your group will be held responsible for arranging time slots to stand at the table during the fair. We suggest at least 2, no more than 5 at a time.                              

*If you are involved with more than one group, you can choose how you will spend that time either by breaking it up between groups, or staying with one group the entire time; remember, this can be a part of your conversation with employers and listed on your resume if you choose to stay at one table.

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

A table, FREE LUNCH to up to 10 students per group in the "Quincy Recycling, Federated Insurance, & IPSGA Student Hospitality Room," attending list of companies, training for fair, and the opportunity to market yourself and the skills you have gained as part of your student involvement.

FIRST 35 TO REGISTER WILL RECEIVE:

A printed table top display that features a full-color banner you will design and x-frame stand. If registered after this number, you may order this at www.postupstand.com/x-frame-table-top-display. Student Senate can also grant funding towards this purchase if request received 45 days in advance, see below:
