First Year Program Fee

The first year program fee is $100 one-time fee assessed to new, degree seeking freshmen and transfer students with fewer than 15 transferred credit hours.  This fee funds a number of programs for first year-students, including:

  • NSO (New Student Orientation) – A mandatory program which connects new students into university life
  • MAP-Works – A counseling tool to promote academic success in the first year
