About the Evening: Join us at the Holiday Inn for a mocktail reception where you’ll learn proper ‘cocktail hour’ etiquette and enjoy a four-course meal where we’ll explain the do's and don'ts of dining etiquette. This year's theme is based on the book Kiss, Bow, Or Shake Hands: The Bestselling Guide to Doing Business in More Than 60 Countries. Chair of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Dr. John Niser, will entertainingly guide you through this evening of fun ... and a little learning.

Why should I learn how to interact in international circumstances? As we enter the professional world, you may be asked to participate in different social situations. You never know where you will be working and the people that will surround you. Some things that are proper in the U.S., may be offensive in another country. We will learn about proper tipping, gift etiquette, and much more!
