Shubita Kever, Director of TRIO and MPA graduate, was awarded the Alumni Citation award from the IPFW Alumni Association.

DeWitt Scott has been selected to receive the NADOHE Outstanding Dissertation Award from National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE).

The Outstanding Dissertation Award  recognizes completed dissertations, either quantitative or qualitative, that have contributed substantially to the literature and to the field. These dissertations serve as exemplary models of research that not only inform, but also elevate the discourse. The award recipient will receive $500 and a complimentary NADOHE conference registration.

 

EVENTS

The College of Education and Public Policy is celebrating its 5th birthday! Highlights from the last five years include a number of noteworthy milestones:

  • We’ve celebrated with nearly 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students who have earned degrees from our Educational Studies, Professional Studies and Public Policy departments.
  • We’ve awarded hundreds of internship credit hours to both undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Students in our Counselor Ed program have accumulated nearly 80,000 on-site internship hours between Fall 2012 and Spring 2017.
  • We’ve awarded dozens of student scholarships.
