Assistant Director of Alumni Relations
Victoria received her BA in Political Science from IPFW in 2013. In her time at IPFW, she has worked for Academic Affairs and the Chancellor's office. She was the Co-Chair of the Blue and White Committee, an affinity group for IPFW alums that were faculty and staff at the university. During her time as Co-Chair, she presented "Building Affinity Groups to Engage a New Generation of Alumni" at 2015 CASE V Conference, received the 2016 IPFW Distinguished Service Award, and was a director-at-large for IPFWAA Board of Directors. She is currently the Co-Chair of the IPFW Top 50. She has always had a passion for this office. She hopes that she can increase knowledge and passion for IPFW and the Alumni Association overall. She is also the Member at Large on the Emerging Leaders Alliance Executive Committee.
Vice Chancellor for Advancement
Angie Fincannon serves as the Vice Chanellor for Advancement, the head of the IPFW Advancement division. Angie came to IPFW from Taylor University in 2015 where she served as the Director of Athletics where she lead a department with 18 sports, 55 coaches, and 350 student-athletes. Her experience includes teaching, coaching, fundraising, and academic and athletic administration.
During her career, Fincannon provided leadership in the strategic planning and implementation of several large fundraising projects. As athletic director, she led an effort to establish a strategic plan for Taylor’s athletics facilities. Once the plan was developed, she worked beside various colleagues and donors to distribute approximately $7 million for the revitalization of the athletics facilities.
She earned bachelors, master’s, and Ed.D. degrees at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. Her dissertation evaluated leadership styles of female school superintendents in Indiana using the Kouzes and Posner Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI).
Angie is currently in Leadership Fort Wayne and is a IPFW proxy representative for the Regional Opportunities Council.
