Welcome New Freshmen!

It is an exciting time to be at IPFW and your choice to be a #newdon15 couldn't be better! We are excited to welcome you to campus and have a two-step New Student Orientation process to provide you the foundation you need to connect you with your campus, learn how to access important resources, have some fun, build your Fall Semester schedule and get you on a successful path towards graduation!

All factes of Orientation are mandatory for all first-year students, who are transferring less than 30 credit hours, so make arrangements and plans today and we will see you soon!

Orientation Step 1: Advising & Registration Day

This is a half day session (AM or PM) where you come to campus, take your student ID card picture, meet with an academic advisor, learn about important university resources, dates and policies and register for Fall Semester courses. Sessions are 8:00-12:00 or 1:00-5:00.

Session availability is based upon your intended major that you indicated on your Admissions application. If this has changed, please call 260.481.6812 before registering for your Advising & Registration Day.

To get started:

1. Activate your My.IPFW account.

2. Click on the Enrollment Tab to complete required placement tests (note that placement tests must be completed 24 hours before your Advising & Registration Day).

3. Complete your Writing Guided Self Placement Test.
