IPFW Issues Request for Proposal to Develop and Implement New Brand

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a marketing partner to develop and implement the new Purdue University Fort Wayne* brand. It was recently announced that the future school colors will be gold and black, the first of many steps in developing a comprehensive brand for the Fort Wayne campus.

The university is seeking a highly creative, collaborative and forward-focused team to work alongside the Marketing Communications department. This will also require working with an existing brand implementation team of university stakeholders.

In a statement to the campus and northeast Indiana community earlier this week announcing the new colors, Chancellor Ron Elsenbaumer stated, “Market research clearly shows that the Purdue University brand is known for academic quality and is recognized as being a quality brand here in our area and across the country. The next step for our university is to take that brand and the strengths of this campus and create the perfect brand for Purdue University Fort Wayne.”

The university expects to have a company identified by the first of the year, with brand launch expected mid-to-late spring.

Intent to Participate and Written Questions are due by 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 14. Proposals will be accepted until 5 p.m. EST on Monday, November 27.
