FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will live stream Purdue University's Zinn Read-In event on Tuesday, November 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Walb Union Ballroom on campus. The event presents the life and work of late anti-war historian Howard Zinn by professors, scholars and activists from across the country.

Speakers presenting at the Zinn read-in include "Lies My Teacher Told Me" author James Loewen, historian and labor activist Staughton Lynd, former U.S. diplomat and peace activist Anne Wright, and filmmaker Anthony Arnove, who was co-editor with Zinn on “Voices of a People’s History of the United States.”

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Speeches will center on topics such as academic freedom. The event is sponsored by Iota Iota Iota of IPFW.
