FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW’s) Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (ODMA) invites the public to attend two free discussion programs the week of April 1, 2013.
“Veterans: Up Close and Personal,” will be presented Monday, April 1, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in Walb Student Union, Rooms 222–226. The program will be led by IPFW Military Student Services Coordinator Jo Vaughan, who will facilitate the presentation “What Does a Veteran Look Like?” The program will also include a candid conversation with military and veteran students currently enrolled at IPFW.
“Inside Out Leadership,” an interactive presentation, will be Tuesday, April 2, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in Walb Student Union, Rooms 222–226. “If you can’t lead you, you can’t lead me” is the tag line for this program, presented by Ron Lewis, academic specialist for tutorial services in IPFW’s TRiO Upward Bound program; his twin brother, Rodney Lewis, an elementary school principal from St. Louis, Missouri; and their sister, Angela Lewis, author of The Game Changing Assist, Six Simple Ways to Choose Success.
