Four More IPFW Sculpture with Purpose™ Bike Racks to be Installed Friday

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Four sculptural bike racks, all part of IPFW Sculpture with Purpose, the flagship 50th Celebration public art project for Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), will be installed tomorrow, (Friday, April 11) beginning at 9 a.m. Members of the media and the public are invited and encouraged to visit these installations.

The pieces and their locations are:

9 a.m.: Budget Friendly at One Summit Square, south of the corner of Wayne and Calhoun streets.

10 a.m.: Mr. McRackit at the Fort Wayne Community Center, 233 W. Main Street, in the back parking lot facing Berry Street.

11 a.m.: Unicycle at the southeast corner of Main and Clinton Streets, near the curb along Main Street.

1 p.m.: Curiosity at 202 West Berry Street.
Ruth Stone, IPFW Sculpture with Purpose project manager, can be reached tomorrow at 260-402-2490 to answer any questions about the project or the installations. Stone invites members of the media to "like" the project's Facebook page.

Advisories will continue to be sent to the media outlining installation dates, times, and locations.
