Annual Easter Basket Collection is Underway

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Office of Alumni Relations at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is joining six other northeast Indiana alumni associations in the 13th Annual Easter Basket Collection which is underway through Monday, March 25.

The Northeast Indiana Alumni Directors Consortium (NIADC) hopes to collect 1,500 baskets to donate to SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) who will them distribute them to children in their programs.

The baskets themselves must be wrapped and filled with store-bought, commercially wrapped items and can be dropped off at any of the seven area colleges and universities.

At IPFW, baskets can be dropped off at the Kettler Hall Information Desk, the Walb Student Union Information Desk, or at the Alumni Center. The drive concludes Monday, March 25.

Besides IPFW, the other members of NIADC are the University of St. Francis, Huntington University, Ivy Tech Community College Northeast, Manchester College, Trine University, and Indiana Tech.
