Local Students Awarded Major IPFW Scholarships

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is pleased to announce the following students have accepted an IPFW Chancellor’s Distinguished Scholarship. The scholarship provides full tuition and student fees and is renewable for up to four years. The recipient’s high school and planned field of study are listed after each name.

  • Brianna Dailey, Leo Junior-Senior High School, psychology
  • Taylor James, Carroll High School, biology/pre-med
  • Amanda Martin, Churubusco High School, biology/pre-med
  • Emily Neff, Home School, elementary education
  • Jacqueline Smith, Homestead High School, engineering
  • Kaylyn Speed, R. Nelson Snider High School, mathematics teaching
  • Samuel Wickey, Leo Junior-Senior High School, undeclared
  •  Brian York, Northrop High School, psychology

The following students have accepted IPFW Chancellor’s Scholarships, which provide half tuition and fees and are renewable for up to four years each:

  • Zachary Carlstrom, Homestead High School, math statistics
  • Tierra Crone, Columbia City High School, biology/pre-med
  • Katherine Crowell, Carroll High School, biology
  • Aaron Olson, Concordia Lutheran High School, biology/pre-med
  • Mikah Sunderman, R. Nelson Snider High School, undeclared fine arts
  • Tiffany Temple, Carroll High School, mechanical engineering
  • Aaron Thieme, Blackhawk Christian High School, philosophy
  • Nicholas Veeley, R. Nelson Snider High School

The following students have accepted IPFW Top Ten Scholarships which provide $1,000 for the first year of college.
