FORT WAYNE,Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is pleased and proud to welcome Janet Iden Kamdar as the director of Alumni Relations.

“I am thrilled to be back at IPFW in order to serve alumni with ideas to propel Alumni Relations to the next level of alumni involvement,” Iden Kamdar said.

Iden Kamdar served as the executive director of IPFW’s MBA program in 2001–02. During that time she turned the program around from a 10-year decline in enrollment to a 17% increase.

In 1995 she received the IU President’s Award for her volunteer efforts, one of the highest awards given to an alumnus. She served as president of Indiana University Alumni Association at IPFW, the Royal Dons Athletic Association, Delta Gamma Sorority, and the Panhellenic Association. She was on the IU Executive Council for two terms and is the incoming president of the Doermer School of Business Alumni Advisory Council.
