FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Studying abroad is often a dream for many students, but that dream could be a lot closer than most think. To find out what you need to know and do to study abroad, all you have to do is attend the Second Annual Study Abroad Fair at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), Wednesday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Walb Student Union Ballroom. The fair is sponsored by the IPFW Office of International Education (OIE).
The fair will showcase study, work, intern, and volunteer abroad opportunities. OIE offers over 30 programs which take place in more than 20 countries. Information will also be available on nearly three dozen overseas programs managed by other organizations. More than 20 exhibitors will be at the fair, making it the largest event of its kind in northeast Indiana.
The study abroad fair is free and open to the public. Visitors will be able to sample international foods and music while at the event.
