IPFW to Dedicate New High Tech Lab

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Department of Geosciences at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will dedicate the Argast Family Imaging and Analysis Lab, Friday, November 2, at 1 p.m. in the Science Building, Room, 263.

The dedication ceremony and news conference will recognize a major donation made by James Argast, father of Anne Argast, professor of geology at IPFW. The donation enabled the purchase of a scanning electron microscope with state-of-the-art capabilities for imaging and microanalysis.

An open house featuring tours of the lab will immediately follow the dedication ceremony and news conference. Refreshments will be served..
