FORT WAYNE, Ind.—More than 80 employers and over 156 recruiters will be on hand at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) for the Northeast Indiana Career Enrichment (NICE) Fair, Wednesday, April 11, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the International Ballroom of the Walb Student Union.
For 20 years, the NICE Career Fair has been connecting northeast Indiana students, alumni, and employers. Eight accredited colleges and universities collaborate to make the Career Fair possible. It is open to students and alumni of NICE institutions:
Jim McAtee, director of IPFW’s Career Services, said there are a number of reasons for students to attend the job fair. “The job market is competitive. Employers like to hire students they know. Even if you’re not looking for a job or are unsure of your career path, come network so when the time is right your network is in place. If you’re looking for a job, you’ll be in the right place!”
McAtee also has these tips for students who will attend the job fair:
