IPFW to Hold FAFSA Completion Night

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW) Office of Financial Aid is hosting a FAFSA Completion Night Wednesday, December 6, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the Helmke Library on campus.

Help will be offered at no cost to prospective and returning students and their families in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form for the 2018–19 academic year. The FAFSA form must be filled out annually to determine a student’s eligibility for financial aid.

“Submitting the FAFSA form is required if a student wants or needs to receive state and federal financial aid,” said Kristina Creager, associate vice chancellor for student success and transitions and interim director of financial aid. “We recognize that the form can be overwhelming, so we are here to support every student and help them through the process.”

Applicants and their parents are required to bring 2016 income documents and social security numbers. Students and parents should also sign up for a Federal Student Aid ID before the event, if possible.

Students can register in advance at the FAFSA Completion Night website.

Spanish translation will be available.

The Helmke Library is located in the center of campus (marked as such on the campus map). Parking is available in Garage P2.
