IPFW Twenty-first Century Scholars Program Holds Mandatory Affirmation Meetings

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Twenty-first Century Scholars program will hold Affirmation Meetings throughout October and November. All Twenty-first Century Scholars high school seniors and their parents/legal guardians must attend one session. Due to the importance of this meeting, participants are required to be on time. Meetings will start promptly at the times listed.

Senior students and parents will receive information and will sign required forms necessary to receive the Twenty-first Century Scholars Tuition Award. Students will need to bring a black ink pen and know their social security number in order to complete the required paperwork.

The Twenty-first Century Scholars program is an income-eligible program for families in the state of Indiana. Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students who qualify for the program can receive up to four years of college tuition to attend an eligible Indiana public or private college or university.

The following is the schedule of sessions. Students and parents need to attend only one session.

Allen County: Sunday, October 30, IPFW Campus, Walb Union Ballroom, 3 p.m. – Arrive at 2:40 p.m. to sign in

Whitley County: Wednesday, November 2, Peabody Public Library, 1160 E. State Road 205, Columbia City
6 p.m. – Arrive at 5:45 p.m. to sign in

Wells County: Thursday, November 3, Norwell High School Cafeteria, 1100 E. US 224, Ossian, 6 p.m. – Arrive at 5:45 p.m. to sign in

Noble County: Monday, November 7, Kendallville Public Library, 221 South Park Avenue, Kendallville, 6 p.m. – Arrive at 5:45 p.m. to sign in

Steuben County: Thursday, November 10, Carnegie Public Library, 322 S. Wayne Street, Angola, 6 p.m. – Arrive at 5:45 p.m. to sign in
