FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Students: stand on the other side of the table! Employers: see what IPFW students can offer! It’s all happening at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW’s) Career Services Reverse Career Fair, Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Walb Union Ballroom.
Since this is the inaugural year for this event, there will be no fee for employers. The Reverse Career Fair is for student leaders who are part of IPFW affiliated groups and employers looking for students who stand out above the rest!
This is the chance for students to showcase the professional and leadership skills they’ve gained to prospective employers and it’s a great way to access new information for career goals and connect with employers. At this fair, student leaders will set up booths and employers will approach the tables.
Employers will find IPFW students are prepared and that they know what it takes to work hard and achieve goals. Discover the professional and leadership skills they can offer your organization. Be part of this Reverse Career Fair and it could pay big dividends in the form of an internship, paid full- or part-time job, sponsorship for a student group, or student help with a company project—the possibilities are endless.
The Reverse Career Fair is sponsored by Indiana–Purdue Student Government Association, Federated Insurance, Career Services, Student Life, and Society for Human Resource Management.
