FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW)—northeast Indiana’s largest public university—is celebrating 50 years through the public art initiative Sculpture with PurposeTM. These innovative sculptural bike racks, which will enrich Fort Wayne with their presence, are one of the ways IPFW is celebrating this milestone. The first finished piece, Confluence, was revealed last September at Freimann Square. Now you can be among the first to find out how the rest of the sculptures will look.
Join us for a news conference and private party as all 50 sculptural models are revealed for the first time on Wednesday, October 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, 311 East Main Street. The news conference will start at 5 p.m.
