FORT WAYNE, Ind.— Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will be hosting their annual Career Fair on Thursday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Athletic Field House, located in the Gates Sports Center. Over 95 local and national employers will be present offering full-time and part-time positions, along with internship opportunities. The career fair is open to current students, as well as alumni, at no charge. This is the largest career fair in northeast Indiana this fall.
“We, in IPFW Career Services, are extremely fortunate to be able to host an event to provide opportunities for students and alumni of the institution. We are blessed with a great facility as well as a talented body of students primed to launch and continue to further their careers with great employers who desire their talents,” said Josiah Brown, assistant director for employer services.
Career Services will be hosting prep sessions for the career fair in Kettler Hall, Room 109, on September 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. These sessions will give helpful hints on what to expect from the career fair, how to put together an outstanding résumé, and how to follow up with interested employers after the fair. No appointments are necessary.
