FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Fall Bus Tour wrapped up yesterday evening following three days of meetings, collaborations, and networking opportunities. Day three stops included Purdue Calumet, where tour members were welcomed by Chancellor Thomas Keon and held meetings with direct counterparts at the Purdue Calumet campus.

Additional highlights included a tour of Zimmer Inc. in Warsaw, also known as the "orthopedic capital of the world," and a series of lectures on the bus, including a talk from Marilyn Moran Townsend, chairman and CEO of CVC Communications and previous chair of the Indiana Commission for Higher Education (ICHE).

The tour wrapped up with a BBQ held at Chancellor Vicky Carwein's home yesterday evening. Faculty, staff, and administrators collaborated on a number of ideas over the three-day tour. Future meetings are planned to carry out new initiatives across campus and continue the strong connections that came from the trip.
