FORT WAYNE, Ind.—How do you show that diversity is alive and well on a college campus? At Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) one way is by hosting a Diversity Showcase, Thursday, November 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Walb Student Union Ballroom.

The showcase will feature more than 40 “active exhibits” from offices, departments, schools, and colleges across campus, reflecting diversity initiatives that have been or currently are underway. One of the highlights will be the opening ceremonies, when Miss IPFW Okara Imani, will sing the national anthem. IPFW Chancellor Vicky Carwein and Ken Christmon, associate vice chancellor for diversity, will officially open and welcome everyone to the showcase. Another highlight will be the presentation of a skit about diversity by a group of student leaders.

This showcase will also highlight international diversity, including international dances, music, and food. It is free and open to the public.
