FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Colors are everywhere we look. Discover what makes them so vibrant as Gang Wang, associate professor of physics at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), leads April's Lunch with an IPFW Scientist presentation of "Light and Color."
A variety of fun activities will be used by Wang to give attendees a better understanding of light and colors using visual tricks that will fool the eyes, including testing visual applications such as 3D pictures.
Lunch with an IPFW Scientist will be April 12, 2014, at Science Central, 1950 N. Clinton, Fort Wayne, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program is open to the public at a cost of $16 per person; $10 for Science Central members. Lunch is included.
Lunch with an IPFW Scientist is geared towards adults and children 8 and older. Each session features a different scientist from IPFW who engages the audience with an educational hands-on activity, then joins them for lunch after the session. Advance reservations are required.
