FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Wireless Technology Center at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is organizing the Fort Wayne Wireless Summer School on June 17–18, 2009.
The program includes two full days of presentations by representatives of the U.S. Department of Defense, ITT Corporation, Purdue University, Pennsylvania State University, Raytheon, BBN Technologies, Defense Spectrum Organization, and General Dynamics, among others.
The presentations will be on various topics related to software-defined and cognitive radio technology and the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS).
The Wireless Summer School is hosted by the IPFW Wireless Technology Center and sponsored by the ITT Corporation; the Indiana Radio Frequency Alliance is an event partner. The school will take place at the Holiday Inn at IPFW and the Coliseum. Special rates are available until May 15, 2009, for out-of-town guests who would like to enjoy the convenience of staying onsite at the conference. The registration fee is $250, which includes lunch on both days, coffee breaks, and a banquet on June 17.
