FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The Center for Inclusion, Diversity and Academic Success (IDEAS) at The Ohio State University is delighted to announce that Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW) Student Affairs unit has been selected as one of the “Top 30+ Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs.”

IPFW Student Affairs units will be featured in today's (March 27) edition of Diverse Issues in Higher Education. Selection was made by the Promising Places to Work Study, a collaborative project between the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and IDEAS. Over 100 schools participated in the inaugural study, which was comprised of six categories including family friendliness, salary/benefits, and professional development opportunities, to name a few. Other schools featured in the issue include: Rutgers University, Texas A&M University, Loyola University Chicago, and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

"Receiving the 'Promising Places to Work' designation from IDEAS reflects the values of the IPFW community and the attention paid by Student Affairs and Enrollment Management to issues of diversity and inclusion in the workplace," said George McClellan, vice chancellor for student affairs and enrollment management. "My colleagues and I are humbled by this recognition and are inspired by it to continue our efforts in this area."
